[:es]La Jorcam se viste con moda española

18/12/2014

The Asociación de Creadores de Moda de España (ACME) donated to the Youth Orchestra and Choir of the Community of Madrid (JORCAM) a collection of T-Shirts designed by the top fashion brands of the country.

JORCAM first wore the T-Shirts at the premiere in the Teatro Canal of “La Zarzuela is young,” a concert of arias and choruses from famous “Zarzuelas” brought together through the result of a workshop of documentary theatre in which participated lovers of the Zarzuela and stage professionals such as Albert Boadella, María Dolores Travesedo and Antonio Lagar, among others. With this work it was intended to try to understand where is the meeting point between different generations and the Zarzuela, to explore why this genre continues to be sung and represented and what is youthful about it.

The T-Shirts designed by the creators of ACME added youth and a differentiating point to the JORCAM wardrobe during its premiere. From now on, these young artists will showcase national design in different concerts through out Spain and the world. A unique opportunity for ACME of contributing, with this small donation, with an institution that plays a large role in training the future professionals of our music.
