Iberdrola by Ion Fiz

Ion Fiz presents the "Capsule" collection designed for Iberdrola’s support staff on occasion of the Week of the Shareholder.

The Iberdrola Tower hosts the fashion show presentation of the collection created by Ion Fiz, who has relied upon the company's commitment towards sustainability for creating the designs. "Capsule" is designed with sustainable criteria, from the choice of fabrics and textiles 100% natural, to the selection of ateliers and artisans who participated in its construction, relying on artists, technicians and suppliers from the Basque Country. This commitment has also permeated the presentation of the collection, for which an 100% sustainable event has been designed.

The Basque designer has developed for the multinational group a collection that consists of 12 different garments and accessories such as shoes, brooches and scarves illustrated by Ion Fiz. "Capsule" is not only a uniform, but also a wager to break stereotypes linked to corporate styling. The collection is based on structured silhouettes that outline the figure, which is covered with soft garments in a tribute to Cristóbal Balenciaga. "Capsule" is inspired by energy, water and steel, the grey hue being the main chromatic tone and incorporates small details in different shades of green in a clear allusion to the corporate identity of Iberdrola.

Minimalist and clean lines are fused with traditional touches, such as the wool pompoms inspired in the Basque jacket "KAIKU" which have been crafted and woven by hand in the Basque Country. It also incorporates natural fabrics such as cotton, wool, silk or cupro – a new eco fabric made of cotton-waste recycling - which do not harm the environment.
