The Asociación de Creadores de Moda de España (ACME) launches a fashion observatory - Observatorio de la Moda Española (OME), in digital format with the support of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport of the Spanish Government. ACME creates this digital platform with the aim of boosting the development of the Spanish fashion industry through courses, conferences, a research report on the sector and a digital exhibition of Spanish fashion.
The Observatory originates with a digital and an educational vocation, the aim being to present Spanish fashion as one of the most representative cultural and economic bastions of our country. The technology partner in this project is the Research Laboratory of Digital Humanities of the University Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED).
The Observatorio de la Moda Española, a space for analysis, training and research regarding the fashion industry and its creators, is made up of four hubs:
ACME has a strong commitment towards education in and promotion of the fashion sector in Spain. This Observatorio de la Moda Española, will entail progress and novelty for said industry in our country as well as the study of this matter at different levels.[:]
