The first edition of the Barcelona Bridal & Fashion Awards; in which the season’s best creations have been awarded valuing the design’s sustainability as well as their innovation, have taken place during Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week. The Kazán evening dress by Valencian fashion designer, Isabel Sanchis,, made up of a silk tulle bodice, sequined crop top and a liquid satin skirt made with recycled polyester threads from plastic bottles, was awarded with a special distinction.
The objective of these new awards is to highlight the work of international bridal fashion designers who convey the trade show’s own brand values such as creativity, originality, quality, inspiration, art, innovation, sustainability and inclusiveness.
