Adolfo Domínguez began his career in the fashion world in 1973. In the 80s he launched the slogan "wrinkle is beautiful" “La arruga es bella”, which became the hallmark of his signature label and one of the most internationally proclaimed slogans in Spanish fashion. His success during that decade led him to design the wardrobe of the protagonists of American TV series "Miami Vice".
In the 90s, Adolfo Domínguez internationalizes and diversifies his business, becoming the first Spanish designer to market a full range of perfumes with his name and the first Spanish fashion brand to quote in the stock market. True to his aesthetic principles, his signature label has evolved with the launch of new product lines. The fashion brand currently has outlets in more than 30 countries around the world.[:]
