Surrounded by cherry blossoms, the spring-summer 2015 creations by Garcia Madrid was presented in the central neighbourhood of Malasaña. The first floor at nº6 calle del Pez became the setting of a different presentation in which the bystander could interact with fashion.
Each one of the rooms in Casa León became a makeshift runway for some static models dressed in suits made of linen, cashmere, cold wool, cotton and vegetable fibres, starring fabrics of the label for the next summer season.
Manuel Garcia, who is preparing the first opening of his label in Chile, took as a source of inspiration the verses by Neruda. Skin-tight silhouettes and an interesting discourse between slim fit and oversize. Crosses, stripes and dolphins over salty white, navy blue, raspberry and pink or green, are the protagonists of a collection that rejuvenates the tradition of tailoring bringing vitality, ease and timeless elegance.
García Madrid, a leading label in the capital due to its menswear creations, is the latest brand that has joined the Asociación Creadores de Moda de España.
