Exhibit by Agatha Ruiz de la Prada in Panamá

The Museo de Arte Contemporáneo MAC Panama, the Embassy of Spain in Panama, the Agatha Ruiz de la Prada Foundation, Physical and Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Panama, organized the exhibition "Agatha Ruiz de la Prada in the MAC."

Composed of 55 emblematic designs, the exhibit of Agatha Ruiz de la Prada fills with colour the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo in Panama. According to Marisa Oropesa, curator of the exhibition, "Agatha Ruiz de la Prada is able to cross and transcend the boundaries of fashion arriving at art in the deepest sense. Hence the dresses are unique, works of art in themselves ... The designer has been able to create her own identity, a distinctive, recognizable and unmistakable style. "

Agatha Ruiz de la Prada started her design career in 1981. That same year she opened her shop-studio in Madrid. Since then she has taken her colourful fashion shows worldwide. Currently, her brand is present in over 170 countries through nearly a hundred licenses and in her own flagship stores in Madrid, Barcelona, ​​Paris, Milan, Oporto and New York.

With this exhibition, which will be open from October 28th to November 23rd, 2014, Panama becomes a new stage to showcase the work of one of the most international designers in Spanish fashion.
