Gran Canaria Moda Cálida is, since 2018, the first associated institution of the Asociación de Creadores de Moda
de España. ACME has acquired the commitment to guide Gran Canaria’s design companies in their local and
global projection, helping them to make decisions that reinforce the fashion made in the island.
The Association and the Council of Industry of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria chose the companies Aurelia Gil, with
woman’s wear prêt-à-porter; lingerie brand Gonzales Underwear; Susana Requena, with jewellery; Lucas Balboa,
with men's tailoring; Arcadio Domínguez, with woman’s wear prêt-à-porter, and Chela Clo, with swimwear, as the
first fashion brands in Gran Canaria to receive personalized advice to take the leap to the peninsula.[:]
