Designer Hannibal Laguna chooses his favourite flowers for brides and transforms them into dresses creating thus a wonderful imaginary garden full of romance and femininity, and he presents his bridal fashion collection Legend of Flowers on the runway Couture España.
"The beauty of flowers has always moved me, their whimsical shapes, colours and luscious fragrances, flowers, one way or another, are always present in my collections. This time I chose those that I consider perfect for a bride, creating fabrics and embroideries that reminiscence their shapes and evoke their charms, " states the designer.
This is a collection of elegant wedding dresses where romanticism and femininity are balanced by the contraposition of volumes, the play of semi transparent bodies and striking exposed backs. Ethereal silhouettes and sinuous skirts reveal the mastery of a perfect cut over luminous crepe beautifully decorated with tiny crystals. Highlighted is the length of skirts that reaches the ankle, full of charm, escorting fabulous bodies on a bias cut and sculpted on the mannequin. Sumptuous jewel dresses, handmade with minute embroidered details on invisible lace, tattoo the skin subtly. From delicate bouquets of orange blossoms floating on French Chantilly to a cloud of petals that evoke bunches of hydrangeas. Necklines and sleeves also stand out, dotted with organza and lace jasmines.
A collection worked with noble fabrics such as diamond Mikado, silk brocade, French lace or silky tulle, cut on dozens of layers to achieve the floating effect of the majestic veil skirts, a signature of the brand.
Special attention merits the shoes in the collection, with the Made in Spain seal they are a part of the new line of accessories that the designer promotes as an expression of neo-luxury, where excellence and quality are shown in all their dimensions.
