The Asociación de Creadores de Moda de España inaugurated on December 17th the IIIrd edition of "The Showcase of Fashion" converting again the headquarters in Calle León 24 in an exhibit space where young creators showcase their work in a very special manner.
In this edition, three members of the Association: Moises Nieto, Maya Hansen and Leyre Valiente invited three creators from different artistic disciplines to establish a creative dialogue with them:
The vanguard designs of Moises Nieto blend with the illustrations by Joseph A. Roda. A garment made of neoprene knit dialogues with hand painted ceramics in vivacious colours. A contrast between modernity and tradition that places value upon craftsmanship as a factor for innovation.
The prints of the "Black Jungle" collection by Maya Hansen, inspired by the darkest jungles of Central America, are reflected in her garments and in the shoes by My Blüchers. A union that we were able to see on the runway of MBFWM and that now may be admired closely in the ACME headquarters.
The complex futuristic designs by Leyre Valiente join the science fiction sculptures by Jorge Candeal, showcased in contrast to the delicate work in cold porcelain by headwear designer Yulia Eremina. A three way conversation that perfectly symbolizes the creative universe of the young creator from Madrid.
"The Showcase of Fashion" is a series of exhibits that convert the headquarters of the Association into a meeting point of fashion creation, where different artistic disciplines live together in the space of ACME.
The exhibition may be visited from December 17th to January 15th
Hours: Monday through Thursday from 10:00 to 14:00 and 15.00 to 18.00 h. Friday from 10:00 to 14:00 h.
