Fashion, which represents 2'9% of the Spanish GDP, is also one of the main pillars of Brand Spain, a creative industry that enjoys global fame, and not only because of our pioneering fast fashion companies, but also because of our business fabric made up by great creative people and artisans who have been able to give visibility to the significant potential of fashion Made in Spain.

The value of that which is handmade distinguishes the Made in Spain seal. Spanish author fashion is intimately linked to the crafts, and our fashion brands have a strong commitment with responsible consumption, production in proximity, and the recovery of trades and tradition. The residence of the Ambassador of Spain in Paris, located on the exclusive Avenue George V, is the perfect place to showcase the most exquisite facet of Spanish fashion in dialogue with majestic Goya tapestries, Madrazo paintings and valuable pieces from the Spanish National Heritage.

Among the participating companies are very consolidated fashion brands in the global market such as Tous, which celebrates its incorporation to ACME by participating in this event; also Delpozo, which premiers in this exhibit; the great ambassador of Spanish creation, Manolo Blahnik, or the unstoppable Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, who held more than 50 fashion shows in 2018. But "Made in Spain" also showcases the work of new Spanish fashion talents that are beginning to break through abroad, such as Leandro CanoDuarteOteyza or Moisés Nieto, among others. All of them, and many other creators, are a great example of how the fashion industry is patriotically committed to Spanish crafts, to the trades that distinguish us, to the recovery of artisan techniques that have made Spain a reference, and also for innovation.

The know-how of our creators is reflected in bridal fashion, in elaborate evening dresses that range from ready-to-wear to couture, in garments that recover the values of traditional tailoring, in the most avant-garde casual fashion and in meticulous pieces of jewellery, footwear and leather goods that are showcased in this event with an exhibit format, and that takes place during Paris Fashion Week which allows us the possibility of receiving both the Spanish and the international press, as well as buyers and agents from all over the world.
