Madrid es Moda, an initiative organized by ACME due to the support of Madrid City Council's platform Madrid Capital de Moda, kicked off its new edition today presenting the collections of eleven designers on board the #ESLOWFASHION IN MOTION bus, as well as in the two stops carried out in the heart of Madrid: Plaza de Colón and Plaza de Cibeles. An urban event that surprised the public once again, and which was also attended by Begoña Villacís, Deputy Mayor of the Madrid City Council. Until March 14th, author fashion returns to the street with Madrid es Moda, a date that on this occasion pays tribute and gives visibility to our artisans.
ACROMATYX, Beatriz Peñalver, Bimani, Devota & Lomba, Duarte, Duyos, Eduardo Navarrete, Ernesto Naranjo, García Madrid, Gonzales, JC Pajares, Jorge Vázquez, Juana Martín, Juanjo Oliva, Maison Mesa, Malne, Manémané, Marcos Luengo, Miguel Marinero , Odette Álvarez, Oteyza, Roberto Verino, The 2nd Skin CO and The Extreme Collection are the creators participating in this edition of Madrid es Moda, once again in charge of opening Madrid Fashion Week and completing MBFWM’s fashion shows.
Under the creative concept of "know-how", in this edition, Madrid es Moda focuses its gaze and emotion on artisans, one of our great assets, whom every day construct Spanish author fashion providing differential value while working from a preservation, respectful and sustainable stand point. Madrid es Moda aims to value their work and narrate their present and future history while also reflecting on the need to defend the trades (pattern making, embroidery, sewing...) to ensure their future survival for the following generations by way of an essential and urgent search and training of tomorrow’s artisans.
