Juanjo Mánez and Paloma Álvarez founded luxury fashion label Malne in 2015. Both are professionals with a long career in the sector and they decided to create their own brand after passing through important Spanish fashion brands in which they have worked as designers and creative directors.
Malne moves away from the concept of industrialized fashion, developing their collections entirely in their atelier in Madrid and basing their business model on the idea of the classic couture atelier, in which exclusive pieces are created with an artisanal approach. After a first fashion show in Qatar, in September 2016 the label joins the official calendar of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid, the runway where they present their collections each season. In addition to Spain, the luxury label sells its collections in boutiques in Qatar, Singapore, Shanghai, Kuwait and Atlanta, and enjoys private clients from different countries around the world.[:]
