Maria Barros starts in the world of fashion in Milan, where she carried out her design studies. In 2001 she was awarded the Moët & Chandon Young Fashion Award for the best European young designer.
After working with Roberto Cavalli, Modesto Lomba and Pupi Solari, she creates her own label, presenting her collections in different runways such as Salon Gaudi, Milan Fashion Week and Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid, where she participates since 2009. She carries out collaborations with other fields of design such as interior design.
Currently she is included in the creative team of CH Carolina Herrera.[:]
