The participation of major museums of our capital in the urban festival Madrid es Moda is already a classic. Fashion exhibitions are organized expressly for these fashion dates in their halls with guided and commented visits to their collections or new tours with fashion as a thread, are but some of the activities offered during these days.
In this edition, the Museum of Decorative Arts of Madrid opens today the exhibition "The Feminine Seams of Spanish Fashion (1930-2018)", an idea of EFE Agency and the Asociación de Creadores de Moda de España (ACME), produced jointly with the National Museum of Decorative Arts, which combines photojournalism, fashion and women through eighty photographs taken during nine decades by EFE photographers, who dialogue with clothes and jewellery by twenty-seven creators of Spanish fashion.

The Design Center of Matadero de Madrid offers the exhibition COMPLEMENTARIOS 2019, the second edition of this DIMAD project, the objective being to add value and give visibility to the fashion complement, the accessory, as an ally in the fashion and design sector. This exhibition shows projects of designers and design studios that represent examples of creativity, innovation and sustainability, as well as the ability to combine craftsmanship, artisan and design in each of their projects. In this edition have participated: Veronica Martinez, Madame Folie, Maria Mallo, Candela Cort, Paloma Canivet, Elena Goded / Ábbatte, Cova Ríos, Fadi Omeish, Jacobo Pérez-Enciso, Anonymous by cm, Voronoi, Cecilia Zavala, Ultramarino, Muakbabi.
