At ACME we have been non-stop, and the 1,563.7 km that separate one capital from the other we cover them without raising an eyebrow (well, actually we're a little shaky, but one has to act as if nothing: giving it all for Spanish fashion). First it was Paris, because the trade shows at Semaine de Créateurs have been attended to market their collections to buyers from around the world by more than 40 Spanish brands, including Juanjo Oliva, Miguel Marinero, Ion Fiz, Ailanto, Menchén Tomás, Antón Heunis Helena Rohner, JV by Jorge Vazquez, Juan Vidal, Amaya Arzuaga, DelPozo, Maria Ke Fisherman, Moisés Nieto ... it’s a good list, right? I would love for you to share my enthusiasm.
Then came Badajoz, where we set up an exhibition titled "A showcase of Spanish design" at IFEBA (the Palace of Congresses and Exhibitions of Badajoz) where we journeyed through the spring-summer 2015 collections of 32 designers through pieces that had been on the runways of the fashion weeks in Madrid, Barcelona and New York.
And now, after a whirlwind of activity, we are packing our suitcases again to return to the French capital, where the Spanish Ambassador is kindly receiving us at his residence so we can dismantle it a bit and install the exhibition Made in Spain: La Mode au-delà des Frontières. For two days, on 15th and 16th of April, specialized fashion media, students and teachers from schools of design, managers of trade shows will be going by Avenue George V... This is a networking event that we already carried out successfully in April 2014, and which I trust renders false the saying that second chances are never good. I’ll be keeping you posted…
