Pedro del Hierro Madrid presents its Fall-Winter 2014/2015 at New York Fashion Week, a proposal inspired on the novel Nothing by Carmen Laforet.
The creative director of the firm, Carmen March, evokes in this collection the post-war era of the Spanish Civil War, marked by garments in shades of grey, black and burgundy with pink, green and blue hues. Menswear pieces, coarse fabrics and structured patterns contrast with finer materials and easy-going patterns for evening looks.
With this collection, Carmen March has traced a continuum between her forties inspired designs and the archive of the brand, taking as a starting point the collections by Pedro del Hierro in the eighties, with jumpsuits, pyjamas and delicate kaftans. The designer has adapted this atmosphere to the Fall with creations designed to dress an elegant and sophisticated woman.
