The Ministries of Industry, Energy and Tourism, of Economy and Competitiveness and of Education, Culture and Sport, together with key players in the sectors of design, manufacturers and retailers of fashion, constitute the Bureau of Spanish Fashion, created to take advantage of the importance and potential of the sector and boost its image globally. An approach between all actors implied seeking new possibilities of collaboration between fashion design and the manufacturing industry.<\/p>\n
At the constitution event, the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism was represented by the Secretary General of Industry, Small and Medium Enterprises, Luis Valero. On behalf of the associations of the sector present were the Asociaci\u00f3n Creadores de Moda de Espa\u00f1a (ACME) and the Federaci\u00f3n Espa\u00f1ola de Empresas de la Confecci\u00f3n FEDECON \u2013 MODA ESPA\u00d1A. The retail groups were represented by, Grupo Cortefiel, Inditex and Ceslar Corporation, a shareholder of El Corte Ingl\u00e9s. The Bureau is open to new players to help achieve its goals, thus companies like Pronovias and Mango have already expressed their desire to become members.<\/p>\n
