Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Ibiza Resort Collections

ACME designers Andrés Sardá, Jorge Vázquez and Teresa Helbig have shown their proposals for the cruise season in the first edition of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Ibiza Resort Collections.

Andrés Sardá showed on the runway of the Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel the collection High Season, a surprising proposal full of contrasts. Núria Sardá, Creative Director of the Catalan brand, pays tribute to the Mediterranean with creations full of light. Crochet, lurex and garments coated with Swarovski crystals, are the key to the Resort season by Andrés Sardá, with proposals tinted in white, Klein blue, yellow and metallic tones.

Refreshing, feminine and romantic, so is Jorge Vázquez’s proposal. The Galician designer puts on the Ibiza runway a collection reminiscent of the 70s where denim and espadrilles recreate the island’s carefree touch. Dusted colours are the guiding thread in designs with a relaxed and casual intent where there is also room for acid tones, terracotta, black and white, indisputable protagonist of the summer nights.

Teresa Helbig presents Seven Seas, a collection she defines as "flirtatious, adventurous, solar and hedonistic". The Catalan designer makes a display of her hyper feminine styles through jewel mini dresses (an essential in Helbig women), tops, blouses and shorts inspired by the 60’s. The Mediterranean is the starting point of a fresh, free and casual collection where elegant silhouettes are not at odds with comfort, a maxim in Teresa Helbig's Resort proposals.
