Adolfo Dominguez and Etxberria, National Fashion Awards

Designers Adolfo Dominguez and Roberto Etxeberria have received an award during the First Edition of the National Fashion Awards (Premios Nacionales de Moda). The ceremony, held at the Reina Sofia Museum in Madrid, was chaired by Crown Princess Letizia and the Minister of Industry, Energy and Tourism, José Manuel Soria.

The creator, from Galicia, Adolfo Domínguez received the National Award for Fashion Designer in the category of Biography, an acknowledgement to the extensive career of one of the most well known Spanish designers in the international scene.

Roberto Etxeberría, Basque designer, specializing in menswear fashion and one of the most encouraging promises in Spanish fashion, received the National Award for Fashion Designer in the New Value mode.

The National Award for Large Company went to the Cortefiel Group, a company that brings together relevant labels in our fashion, such as Pedro del Hierro.

Mirto, National Award for SME in the Fashion Industry Sector; Pilar Riaño, National Award for Professional in Communication, Academy and Culture and Ecoalf, National Entrepreneurship Award, were the other awardees.
