After the success of the first edition, CIRCULAR II, SUSTAINABLE AND CIRCULAR FASHION MEETS, took place on March 15th and 16th at the Museo del Traje in Madrid organized by Moda re- , together with the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, the Ministry of Culture and the Museo del Traje. The meets covered, with the help of the sector’s main voices, the complete circle of used clothing: the treatment of textile waste, its reuse and recycling. An interesting program that has included three professional panels in which, among other topics, the different initiatives that the Government of Spain is developing to promote circularity in the textile sector were discussed. During these days there were also workshops aimed at the general public and families to raise awareness regarding responsible consumption and textile recycling.
Additionally, Moda re- en ruta is presented, a traveling sustainable fashion store that will tour small towns in Spain starting March 18th. The program will also be highlighted by professional panels, the initiatives that the Government of Spain is developing to promote circularity in the textile sector and workshops aimed at the general public and families regarding up-cycling, textile recycling and responsible consumption.
