The master classes taught during the Festival Madrid es Moda have as their main objective to bring fashion to anyone who has a concern and an interest in learning more about this exciting world. In them, knowledge is shared, dialogues are established with renowned experts and designers, experiences and practical cases of success are related, etc. so that attendees are imbued with the "savoir faire" that is needed to succeed in the sector.
In this line, Gran Hotel Inglés has held several different themed master classes always with fashion as the protagonist. Bridal dresses and wedding guests with Manu Sánchez; Fashion and Luxury Protocol with Juan Borges; Personal Branding in Fashion with Elena Valor; Haute Couture with Mónica Berlanas, the relationship between painting and fashion with José Francisco Estévez, President of the Enrique Ochoa Foundation, and the trajectory and experience of more than 30 years as a successful designer with Maison Mesa.
Nebrija University is another scenario where a MeM master class has been taught. In this case by Laura Tapias, Director of Lauwood, a fashion handbag brand manufactured in Spain with wood and carbon fibre K12. The founder of the brand has highlighted the importance today of innovation, research and development of new materials as well as their adequacy to make handbags. Aspects that have been tested live and direct in the most practical part of the conference.
In the same way, plastic artist Federico Antelo and the emblematic house Capas Seseña, with Marcos Seseña at the head, have come together to carry out a workshop in the firm's flagship store. A theoretical-practical class where the keys of their collaboration have been unveiled, as well as how the artisan processes of printing on capes is carried out.
