Gran Canaria Moda Cálida and ACME, united again in training days

Once again, the Asociación de Creadores de Moda de España (ACME) collaborates with Gran Canaria Moda Cálida and the Cabildo de Gran Canaria to carry out two training days on April 26th and 27th to be held at the Escuela de Arte y Superior of Gran Canaria aimed at students and public from the fashion sector.

Grand names of reference in the world of Spanish fashion, and experts in business development and sustainability, will be in charge of transmitting all their knowledge to the participants while helping them draw up the roadmaps for the management of their ventures in order to provide them with tools to execute the changes required by the new EU regulations and thus comply with the 2030 agenda.

The first day will focus on the importance of fashion catwalks for the development of a brand and the necessary steps to create one. The Minister of Industry, Commerce and Crafts of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria, Minerva Alonso Santana will inaugurate and offer an opening welcome. Additionally, Charo Izquierdo, former director of MBFWM will participate in a talk with designers Modesto Lomba and Ernesto Naranjo.

Finally, designer Moises Nieto will carry out a presentation to explain to the attendees the steps necessary to create an author fashion company.

The second day will focus on sustainability, the necessary elements for the development of an eco-friendly collection and discovering new business opportunities with presentations by teacher María Giraldo and fashion consultant, teacher and cultural manager Cristina Gil Donaire.
