The second edition of the Isla Bonita Moda Awards for “Made in La Palma” Talent has once again highlighted the island's creative potential by acknowledging the work of designers, models, makeup artists, hairstylists, photographers, content creators, and sustainable fashion projects.
Organised by the La Palma Council, and the public project Isla Bonita Moda, these awards have established themselves as a benchmark for promoting local talent and projecting it beyond the island. “It is a source of pride for La Palma to have professionals who carry the island’s name wherever they go,” emphasised during the ceremony the island's president, Sergio Rodríguez.
The gala also paid special tribute to renowned designer Pedro Ferreiro Rodríguez (“Pedro Orley”), prizing him with the Honorary Award for his career and contribution to the sector.
Miriam Perestelo, Regional Minister of Economic Development, highlighted Isla Bonita Moda's role in providing genuine support to creatives from La Palma, allowing them to grow from their homeland and conquer new markets.
