Oteyza’s fashion show, most watched in Facebook

Oteyza, the menswear fashion label’s fashion show, held in Matadero Madrid’s DIMAD space during the 68th edition of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madri and included within the activities of the urban fashion festival Madrid es Moda, is breaking records of visualizations in Facebook, becoming the most watched Spanish fashion show in the history of this social network.

The staging, a performance in two acts with male dancers from the National Ballet of Spain (BNE), managed to fuse dance and fashion perfectly, in a sublime show in which fashion became pure art.

The director of the BNE, Antonio Najarro, and his team danced to the sound of castanets with the garments of the fashion brand’s new collection RAÍCES (ROOTS), Spanish capes, high waist trousers, espadrilles ... A proposal for SS / 19 with distinctively outlined suits, light fabrics (merino wool and linen) and wider jackets with buttons and pleats that provide more freedom of movement. All in a range of colours that include sand, beige, yellow and white, for daytime, and another range of greenish blues and violet tones for the evening
