Ogadenia Couture and Como la trucha al trucho join the advisory program that the Asociación de Creadores de Moda de España offers to selected firms from Gran Canaria Moda Cálida. A collaboration agreement that both institutions established in 2018 and due to which nine firms from Gran Canaria receive ACME’s professional services.
Their adhesion to this program became effective in a meeting held at the Association’s headquarters, in which the Councillor of Industry of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria, Minerva Alonso; Araceli Díaz Santana, director of Gran Canaria Moda Cálida; Modesto Lomba, president of ACME, and Modesto Lomba,, executive director of ACME also participated.
Right now creators Arcadio Domínguez, Blasón, Aurelia Gil, Chela Clo, Lucas Balboa, Elena Morales, Susana Requena, Pedro Palmas and Gonzales are benefiting from this agreement, being joined by Ogadenia Couture and Como la trucha al trucho. It is about facilitating non-permanent aid, as the Councillor explained during this meeting. This collaboration with ACME is intended to serve as a launching pad for firms from Gran Canaria. For the selection of the brands that are incorporated, a report made by the Association itself is taken into account, as well as that the selected designers have the necessary instruments to market outside the Canary Islands.
Of Ogadenia Couture 2022, it is worth highlighting their commitment to artisan work, which is manifested in the variety of hand-embroidered fabrics on looms that are the protagonists of their collections, whose essence is sensuality and femininity.
In the case of the swimwear company Como la trucha al trucho, its 2022 collection, called 'Damajuana', was inspired by women with a Mediterranean and adventurous character, with a series of comfortable and versatile pieces which are the swimwear brand's hallmark.
