Fall Winter trends in TELVA’s fashion show

Fashion magazine TELVA  has held a fashion show at the Hipódromo de la Zarzuela in Madrid to present the proposals for this Fall / Winter of some of the best local and global designers. The event, which included influencer María Pombo as master of ceremonies, was attended by numerous personalities from the world of culture, fashion and society. Among the most well known faces, the presence of Victoria Federica Marichalar, Cayetana Guillén Cuervo or Carmen Lomana, among others, stood out. And creators such as Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, Ulises Mérida or Jorge Acuña did not want to miss the appointment either.

A total of 24 models, among which was Spanish top model with global projection Mayka Moreno, showed the latest creations for the Fall / Winter season of; Hilfiger Collection, Sportmax, Dsquared2, Etro, Max Mara, Blumarine, Temperly London, Elisabetta Franchi , Emporio Armani, Custo Barcelona, Roberto Verino, Juan Vidal, Teresa Helbig, Adolfo Domínguez, Roberto Torretta, Devota & Lomba, Ulises Mérida, Ángel Schlesser, Alvarno, Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, Antonio García, The 2nd Skin Co, Jorge Acuña, Ángel Sánchez and Jorge Vázquez.

Designs by ACME’s creators

The infinite creativity of Custo Barcelona  could be seen once again in garments with very marked asymmetries in mini dresses that defy winter where transparencies reigned and embossed prints, gold and silver thread, and bright lame. A collection that distinguishes a different woman, risqué and very sure of her individuality.

The end of the two world wars inspires Roberto Verino's new collection, which seeks to highlight the interest in fashion that emerged both in the 20s and the 40s. Geometric knits, combined with lurex join sober tones, which dress a woman who discovers her new role in society.

Juan Vidal’s latest for the coldest months are garments that breathe a retro and somewhat dusty atmosphere. The two designs that the creator showed in the TELVA fashion show took the public to nightclubs where smoke and dim light blur the image of a woman who wraps her silhouette with black shirts and skirts that lengthen and crisscross.

Wunderkammer is the name of Teresa Helbig's latest collection, in which the designer alludes to that mental space in which the most inspiring treasures are kept. The models showcased leather dresses as well as others with full skirts and golden applications, but the star piece was a maxi coat with feather applications that wrapped the model with the elegance and warmth that brings the combination of fabrics.

Roberto Torretta once again states that his clothes are designed for a cosmopolitan and elegant woman, with asymmetric cuts and midi lengths, and always with geometric patterns as the common base of the collection, which has been inspired by different periods of the history of fashion.

The proposal of Galician Adolfo Domínguez for this Fall / Winter entails to preserve a traditional vision of women and the classic elegance of the fashion brand. Thus, it brands personality without renouncing style and, both in two piece suits as well as in dresses, it presents maxi openings with the clear intention of increasing fluidity when walking, prolonging the leg.

The combination of reds and blacks was the detail that marked the Devota & Lomba fashion show, in which crêpes and cloths showcased a woman of clean elegance, in search of a timeless style. The superposition of layers and transparencies were the common denominator of the models that climbed the runway.

Ulises Mérida surprised with a palette very different from his signature style. A lover of the most resounding colours, this time he chose more blurred tones to make sense of the name of his collection, Sfumata. Rosewood dyes with soft halo garments have black as the central axis. Likewise, it plays with the superposition of garments and the mixture of textures to enhance the cape as a star garment.

On the other hand, Ángel Schlesser proposes for the next months a collection inspired by painter Mark Rothko, of minimalist tone, that combines pure and simple lines with feathers as a decorative detail. In the runway they uploaded designs in neutral tones that praised cloth as the ideal texture for winter.

The last work of Agatha Ruiz de la Prada  is a tribute to Yves Saint Laurent, where the protagonists are mini dresses of great volumes in which there is no shortage of hearts and big bows. Corduroy and velvet are mixed with leatherette, plastics, silks and cotton poplin in a minimalist collection, in the words of its creator.

Elegance at its best came to the runway with Jorge Acuña with three designs for a sophisticated woman that fills the coldest nights with glamor. Tulle and feathers were the perfect complements to give volume to party dresses in red or black, which was the star tone of this proposal.

The proposals for next Fall / Winter by Jorge Vázquez dress up an ambitious and sparkling woman with black as the key colour of her total looks. Plumeti stockings were the perfect accessory for garments in which velvet and satin flirt with crystal ruffles and fringes.
