Over 500 visitors in the exhibit Made in Spain

Over half a thousand people came to the Residence of the Spanish Ambassador in Paris to participate in the fourth edition of this exhibit-format event, which every year showcases in the French capital the latest news from the most prominent Spanish designers.

Fernando Carderera, Ambassador of Spain in Paris; Modesto Lomba and Pepa Bueno, President and Director of ACME, were in charge of welcoming the guests to this networking activity, which brought together many professionals from the world of fashion and culture. Personalities such as José Ignacio Wert, Chief Ambassador of the Spanish delegation to the OECD in Paris; Maria Teresa Lizaranzu, Ambassador of the Spanish delegation to UNESCO; Sheila Loewe, Director of the Loewe Foundation; the Director of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid, Charo Izquierdo; the President of the Group Perfumes y Diseño, Pedro Trólez, the choreographer and dancer Blanca Li, and model Violeta Sánchez, were present at this great Spanish fashion event.

Fernando Burgaz, General Director of Industria Alimentaria, supported with his presence the collaboration of ACME with the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Food and Environment, to promote during the event our best fashion together with the best Spanish gastronomy, two fundamental pillars for Brand Spain. And so it was that the guests could enjoy a tasting of products of Protected Designation of Origin (D.O.P) and food awarded in the Foods from Spain Awards.

Purificación García, Juana Martín, Leandro Cano, Beatriz Peñalver, Leyre Valiente, Asier Tapia, Carlos Duarte, Pilar Dalbat, Oteyza, Fely Campo, Teresa Helbig, Anton Heunis, Héctor Jareño de Reliquiae, and Cosima and Tristán Ramírez Ruiz de la Prada, did not miss the great appointment with Spanish fashion in Paris.

This event is held every year coinciding with Paris Fashion Week, giving us the possibility to receive both the Spanish and international press as well as buyers and agents from all over the world, stationed in the French capital at the time, thus becoming a meeting point between all of them and the designers. The teams from Telva, Harper's Bazaar, Vogue Spain, Yo Dona and TVE's FlashModa, journalist Jessica Michault, French and international media such as Gala, L'Express, Attitude Luxe, France Télévision, Fashion Network, L ' Officiel Paris, Firstluxe, AFP and L'Officiel Homme Singapour, have been some of the attendees of this fourth edition.

This event was also attended by department store purchasing agents such as Gallerie Lafayette, Greenbird Boutique Abu Dhabi, Glow Beirut, 51 East Gallery Qatar, Nachbarin Austria and the Parisian trade shows Who's Next, Première Classe and Paris sur Mode, New York Coterie visited the exhibition to learn about the novelties of 44 Spanish creators in an emblematic frame in which the most current fashion is mixed with outstanding pieces of art that decorate the offices of the Embassy of Spain in Paris, among which are the famous Goya tapestries.
