Ana Locking presents a collection charged with symbolism

All Ana Locking`s fashion shows tell a story. This time, the designer introduces us to a boy who lived in captivity, only accompanied by his toy horse, until he appeared on the streets of Nuremberg at age 16. The unsettling story of Kaspar Hauser is full of symbolism and criticism of the lack of communication and disinterest in true knowledge by current society that lives marked by virtual stimuli.

The designer proposes a very sporty aesthetic, futuristic, with garments made of metallic shimmer materials and iridescent effect. This youthful appearance coexists with pieces that achieve a balance between the extravagant and the mundane, with long dresses that are not designed for galas, but to be mixed with other styles.

The iconography of the collection, the figure of the toy horse and the very name of Kaspar Hauser, is reflected on knitted jumpers, and also on full-body tights that symbolize a second skin. The contrast of materials and textures, with devoré velvets, net, organza, broken tartan cottons, sequins, embroidered lycra, glass and metal beads, marks a complex proposal that avoids impositions and claims singularity.
