Amaya Arzuaga presents her collection at the Palais de Tokyo

03/03/2014

Amaya Arzuaga presents in Paris the Fall-Winter 2014/2015 at the Palais de Tokyo. The designer added the Spanish touch in the official calendar of fashion shows during the Semaine des Créateurs.

A spiral of black and gold encompasses that which the creator, from Burgos, terms “Voyage au centre de la terre”. Amaya Arzuaga investigates in the materials by nature (minerals, crystals and earth) to create a collection in which the dress is the starring garment, worn with ankle boots and occasionally hidden by coats.

Wool, leather or lurex knit are the materials over which she has created large volumes and shapes. Folds concentrated at the waist and shoulders, symmetrical pleats, dual bellows or two toned, shimmer and knife pleats are presented in golden hues, black, green, red or blue in a collection that expresses strength and power.
