Spanish signature label OTEYZA has once again been selected by the Fédération Française de la Haute Couture et de la Mode to showcase their creations at Paris Fashion Week. The new collection, titled Arcadia, was presented in a digital format on the official platform of the Parisian fashion week.
The 2021/2022 fall-winter fashion proposal of the brand from Madrid, finds its balance in nature. Paul García de Oteyza and Caterina Pañeda, faithful to their fellowship discourse between tradition and avant-garde, show a collection full of natural materials such as Spanish merino wool or ecological cottons, protagonists of highly structured garments that enhance the beauty of asymmetries.
The chromatic range of their creations reinforces said link with nature through intense hues such as olive green, tan yellow, brown, blue and black, and essential colour in all the fashion house’s collections.
For next fall-winter, Oteyza is opting for asymmetric gabardines, coats with different levels of collars, jackets with intense pleats and fluid trousers, while also making room for spectacular skirts that review a new masculinity.
On this occasion, Oteyza also showcase their creations for women, a fusion of genres starring model Laura Ponte who collaborates with the brand to pay tribute to nature, sustainability and Spanish crafts.
