Murcia’s Regional Council of Tourism, Culture, Youth, and Sports, has launched the first edition of “Meet Fashion Impulsa“, a competition aimed at supporting and promoting the region’s creative fashion talent within the framework of the platform “Meet Fashion Región de Murcia“.
The initiative was created to support, as well as a tool to generate visibility, emerging and novel fashion designers, with the goal of strengthening the creative ecosystem and facilitating connections with the professional fashion designer sector.
The competition is structured in two categories. In the Emerging Designers category, the winning project receives a one-year membership to the Asociación de Creadores de Moda de España (ACME), thus gaining access to specialized advice, visibility, as well as direct contact with the leading professionals of the Spanish fashion ecosystem. The Novel Designers category recognizes the Best Collection, the Best Presentation Dossier, and the Best Communication Plan, additionally selecting up to seven proposals to participate in the official “Meet Fashion Talent” runway show.
The registration period is open from December 16th to January 31st, 2026. The evaluation will be carried out by a professional jury comprised of representatives from ACME, industry experts, and members of the event’s organizing committee. The competition final will be held in April in Murcia, as a part of the “Meet Fashion Talent” event, where the selected projects will be presented and the awards will be granted.
With this collaboration, ACME reinforces its commitment to designer fashion connected to the territory, the creative present, and the sector’s future.
