ACME collaborates with the Teatro Real

03/12/2014

Following the success achieved during last season, the Teatro Real organizes their II Almoneda Real, which will allow the public at large to purchase props, costumes and characterizations, made in the workshops of the theatre, that have been part of some of the productions who have been presented on stage.

The Asociación de Creadores de Moda de España, benefactor of the Teatro Real, wanted to contribute towards this initiative loaning the mannequins for the exhibition of the garments of the opera Giulio Cesare, worn by the singer Maria Bayo in her representation in the Real in November 2002.

ACME again shows its support towards the performing arts collaborating with this auction in which the public can choose from more than 400 objects selected, ranging from large format creations, like gondolas, robots or carriages, to more accessible items such as Venetian masks, birds or suitcases. Exclusive wigs, manufactured hair by hair, headdresses and combs designed by relevant names like Jesús del Pozo, unique dresses salvaged from antique shops or period costumes made with traditional techniques, complete this sample of unrepeatable objects.
