ACME incorporates four new signature fashion firms

Acromatyx, Eduardo Navarrete, Isabel Sanchís and Otrura join the Asociación de Creadores de Moda de España, which exceeds over 80 associates.

During these times, when team-building is essential, as well as believing in the values of Spanish designer fashion, the Association is strengthened with the arrival of four new firms while it continues with the aim of growing to bring together Spain’s leading fashion creator’s brands.

Acromatyx, Eduardo Navarrete, Isabel Sanchís and Otrura are firms of different sizes and types that have in common their Made in Spain commitment, responsible production, the renewal of tradition and the enhancement of crafts.

Acromatyx is the firm led by Xavi García and Franx de Cristal, formerly known as 44 Studio. This duo begins a new stage under a new name that signifies the beginning of their global expansion and their commitment to the Asian market. The transformation of tailoring and non-gender are distinctive features of their work, which is characterized by a transgressive style and detailed manufacturing. For Acromatyx, “being part of the Association is a source of pride since we are adding value to our brand. We believe that unity is strength and together we contribute a grain of sand to support Spanish fashion. "

Eduardo Navarrete, who became known as a participant in the first edition of the Maestros de la Costura TV program, has become a well-known name in emerging Spanish fashion thanks to his personality and creativity. With a style characterized by the renewal of traditional couture codes, which he irreverently and casually transforms with designs that shed all formality, the designer from Alicante has built a highly unique creative universe. “Joining ACME makes me very excited. I come with ideas, freshness and joy to contribute to Spanish fashion", declares Navarrete.

Isabel Sanchís is a family brand with more than 30 years experience that enjoys great international recognition, with points of sale in more than 40 countries. With Isabel Sanchís herself and her daughter Paula Maiques leading the creative direction, this brand has been one of the latest additions to the official Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid calendar. Its unique volumes and experimentation with fabrics and materials distinguish the work of this firm that, from its atelier in Valencia, exports all over the world. For Isabel Sanchís “it is an honor and a privilege to be part of ACME. We hope to contribute new ideas and illusions by working together for the recognition of Spanish fashion ”.

Otrura is a young Spanish fashion house that is characterized by claiming craftsmanship, responsibility and quality. The brand, directed by Sergio de Lázaro and Verónica Abián; both fashion professionals with an outstanding career in the sector, is committed to a renewal of traditional tailoring and the creation of timeless garments made to last. For Otrura, ACME is a fundamental actor in the care of the values that unite fashion creators. "It is a privilege to be part of a path started by so many colleagues, of enormous talent, who are on a pilgrimage along a common path that we will transit with all our strength, trying to achieve shared goals and helping each other", they stated.

Pepa Bueno, executive director of ACME, believes that with the incorporation of these four firms, the association not only grows in number, but also highlights the unity and development of our sector. "Their different creative, solid and unique proposals reveals Spanish author fashion’s power, a cultural industry that generates wealth and identity that, as a cultural expression, is extremely powerful, since it contains a system of meanings, values and beliefs capable of becoming an effective instrument to question codes and change paradigms ".
