Daniel Chong and the importance of loving yourslef in "Mirror, Mirror"

Daniel Chong presents at Madrid es Moda his new capsule collection, “Mirror, Mirror”.

The fashion show was held in the hidden room of Palacio Fernán Núñez, where Chong's proposals are reflected in garments for all seasons, highlighting the use of sustainable materials and the Made in Spain seal.

The collection is presented as a journey in which the garments reflect the fragility of human beings and their dreams, as well as a rebellion against the unattainable standards of behaviour in today's society. It is a critique of these unlimited demands and a vindication of diversity, the importance of loving oneself, and the need to take care of one's mental health.

The designer includes coats, jackets, dresses, skirts, and trousers made of boiled wool, recycled cotton, knitwear, and metallic fabrics, presented in XL silhouettes and geometric patterns with a mix of plain and print garments, combining different textures such as quilting and original drawings. The chromatic range transits from raw and gray colors to neon and metallic hues.
