Oteyza's new proposal at Paris Fashion Week

OTEYZA has presented “Air”, its collection at Paris Fashion Week Homme. The fashion brand has, once again, been selected by the Fédération Française de la Haute Couture et de la Mode, to showcase its new collection during the official calendar of Paris Fashion Week, with a fashion show held at the Ambassador of Spain’s Residence in France.

OTEYZA thus brings the highest Spanish craftsmanship to the most important men's catwalk in the world, linking itself more and more to a universe of luxury street wear. The duo made up of Paul García de Oteyza and Caterina Pañeda performs a powerful exercise in dynamism, freshness, functionality and sophistication with their spring-summer 2023 collection.

Air becomes the common thread of OTEYZA’S collection that seeks balance through movement while also being nourished by the creative universe of Raoul Dufy. The work of the fauvist and cubist painter is contagious to the Madrid duo that transfer the color and the lightness of his brush stroke to their tailoring creations for next summer. Beige, green, blue, violet and salmon tones bring fluidity and freshness to a collection in which there is no lack of the firm’s characteristic tones such as grey, black or mustard.

Pure lines versus unstructured shapes, larger volumes and more collected pieces play up with contradiction in a fashion proposal in which urban garments such as polo shirts, t-shirts and sneakers gain strength. Linens, cottons and merino wool mark the drops and volumes of OTEYZA’s pieces, seasoned on this occasion with handmade wicker and leather accessories.
