Lexdeux, Maite by Lola Casademunt and The Extreme Collection, new associates

05/12/2018

ACME reaffirms its commitment to growth with the incorporation of these three new fashion brands of different nature, but with author’s design signature as a common link. With the arrival of LEXDEUXMAITE BY LOLA CASADEMUNT and THE EXTREME COLLECTION, the Asociación de Creadores de Moda de España demonstrates a committed intention of growth to represent the sector, grouping under its initials at this time 71 associates, among which are leading Spanish fashion design companies.

After training in Fashion Design in Madrid, Juanma Capón began his professional career in 2002 with Ángel Fernández Ovejero, founder of Ángel Schlesser, with whom he works for six years. After this period he moved to Barcelona, where he combined his training and his career as a designer with the retail world. Back in Madrid, at the end of 2014, he begins to build his own fashion brand: LEXDEUX, positioning itself in social networks and establishing the fundamental pillars of the label which is characterized by refined lines, meticulous sewing and research into the use and mixing of fabrics. LEXDEUX has presented its collections on platforms such as MFShow and the OFF calendar of MBFWM. After capital investment, the fashion brand has been able to develop its business structure and embark on the preparation of opening its first flagship store in Madrid, scheduled for 2019.

MAITE BY LOLA CASADEMUNT, is the premium line of fashion brand Lola Casademunt, and is led by Maite Gassó, daughter of the founder and alma mater of this label. Femininity, sophistication and vitality are the concepts that distinguish Maite by Lola Casademunt, the label she has shown at 080 Barcelona and Miami Fashion Week. Maite Gassó studied fashion design at the School of Image and Design in Barcelona, enriching her training with cool hunting courses and different marketing, management and business strategy programs at ESADE and the prestigious Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. Linked to the family business since the end of the 80s, in the design and purchasing departments, the fashion label has been present in important international trade shows such as Bread and Butter Berlin or Brussels Fashion Fair, and is currently in the process of global expansion, presenting the fashion brand in countries like Japan or the United Arab Emirates.

THE EXTREME COLLECTION is the fashion brand founded by brothers Jorge and Mariano García Magariños 25 years ago. Inspired by the great tailors of Savile Row and the creative spirit of the “stile napoletano” that reinvented the tailoring during the 60s, their collections are an example of sustainability and craftsmanship, made entirely in Spanish ateliers. In recent years their creations have received great international support with the arrival in markets as demanding as Italy or UK, bringing the unmistakable seal of The Extreme Collection to countries such as China, India, Japan, France or the USA, where they already have agreements with partners and distributors. The brand has a presence in 250 points of sale all over the world. Throughout its history, The Extreme Collection has collaborated with relevant fashion brands such as Manolo Blahnik, La Perla, Devota & Lomba or Davidelfin.[:]
