Teresa Helbig, City of Barcelona 2024 Award winner in Design and Fashion

Designer Teresa Helbig has been awarded the 2024 City of Barcelona Award in the Design and Fashion category for her Wet Ballet collection. A recognition that highlights her talent, creativity, and contribution to Spanish fashion.

The awards ceremony took place on March 12th in iconic Ciento Council Hall in Barcelona at an event presided over by Mayor Jaume Collboni. These awards, granted by Barcelona City Council since 1949, aim to highlight excellence in artistic and cultural creation linked to the city.

“This recognition is immensely thrilling, and motivates us to continue working with passion, celebrating craftsmanship as well as women,” stated an emotional Teresa Helbig after receiving the award.

An award that reinforces the fashion designer’s legacy and her commitment to designs that combines elegance, tradition, and avant-garde.
