Hannibal Laguna studied fashion design in Milan and in 1987 began his career in the fashion design world by opening his own atelier. At the age of 19, his first collection was awarded the Air France prize and selected by Paco Rabanne to represent Spain at the Europe in US international exhibition.
The collections by Hannibal Laguna are shown since 1997 in Madrid Fashion Week, an activity that he combines with the presentation of his bridal fashion line in various local fashion shows. In 2015 the creator goes a step further in the expansion of his brand and signs an agreement with the company MTNG EXPERIENCE for the development of a footwear and accessories line for his signature label.[:]
