Canarias Islas de Moda organized an exhibit at Madrid es Moda HUB that showcases the creativity and talent of jewelry designers and creators from the Canary Islands. This exhibition is promoted by Isla Bonita Moda and its quality assurance seal, which promotes the development of the creative and textile sectors by the Island Council of La Palma through Sodepal.
Curated by Helena Rohner, "El Jardín del Atlántico" brings together nine Canarian designers who present their exclusive pieces in an exhibit that reflects the essence of their Atlantic identity. From different parts of the archipelago, six of the artists are associated with the Isla Bonita Moda collective (Atelier El Tesoro, Lepa Punca, Mararte, Pedro Ferreiro, Sara Luis Joyas, and Silvia Baly), while the other three representatives belong to the Gran Canaria Moda Cálida collective (Carmen and Mario Joyeros Artesanos), Tenerife Moda collective (Nerea Murillo Jewellery), and Lanzarote Moda collective (Nanni Jewelry).
The initiative accounts with the collaboration of Proexca, which, through the Canary Islands Government, aims to promote and position Canarian fashion and design in international markets.
