The L’Oréal Paris Awards celebrated another edition in Madrid in collaboration with the Asociación de Creadores de Moda de España (ACME). After 27 years, the awards have entered a new phase and are now held annually.

L’Oréal Paris has launched these awards to recognize the talent of Spanish fashion and support the professional development of designers and models. This year, the event was organized for the first time in partnership with ACME.

The awards went to designer Moisés Nieto, recognized as Best Designer; model Laura Ponte, distinguished as Best Model; and fashion designer Juana Martín, who received the new “You’re Worth It” award, dedicated to recognizing a lifetime of professional achievement.

The awards were presented by a jury composed of: Cantal Ceña, editor of InStyle; Carmen Mañana, editor of Glamour; and Joana Bonet, editor of La Vanguardia Magazine. Laura Longo, editor of Hola Fashion and fashion and beauty director of Grupo Hola; Mayka Sánchez, editor of Woman; Olga Ruiz, editor of Telva; Gervasio Pérez, fashion and beauty director of Mujer Hoy; Laura Somoza, fashion director of Elle; Leticia García Guerrero, editor-in-chief of SModa; Alba Melendo, stylist; and Yesenia San Juan, Head of Global Programmes at University of the Arts London, all professionals from the fashion sector tasked with evaluating the most outstanding careers and proposals of the past year.

The gala was hosted by model and media personality Nieves Álvarez and featured the participation of Candice Lamoine, director of L’Oréal Paris for Spain and Portugal; Pepa Bueno, executive director of ACME; and Arístides Figuera del Rosal, communications director of L’Oréal Paris for Spain and Portugal.

Among the attendees were designers Carlota Barrera, Ernesto Naranjo, Franx de Cristal, Xavi García (Acromatyx), Juan Duyos, Manuel García (García Madrid), Miguel Becer (ManéMané), Modesto Lomba, Moisés Nieto, and duo Victorio & Lucchino, along with models, actresses, and industry professionals present at the gala, which was held at Hotel The Palace Madrid.
