The opening of the collective showroom is one of the main activities of Madrid es Moda thanks to Solán de Cabras, showing its support to author fashion by becoming one of the event’s main sponsors, an initiative firmly committed to sustainability by the hand of new and established designers who promote the values of slow fashion to create their proposals. Sustainability and design are two of the fundamental pillars of the natural mineral water brand as reflected in the progress it continues to make in terms of eco-packaging, by having its bottles made of 100% recycled plastic in 2021 after committing to eliminate the use of virgin plastic in their packaging.
Madrid City Council, through its platform, Madrid Capital de Moda, and the Government Area for Culture, Tourism and Sports, as well as Klarna, also promotes this showroom space.
"In an edition marked by the hopeful post-pandemic recovery, Klarna is in a very good position as a growth partner for Spanish fashion brands. Today's consumers take into account the cost of their purchases and move further away from traditional forms of credit to opt for more transparent and innovative payment options. We are proud to partner with iconic fashion events and well-known brands, thus being able to offer more people the comfort, security and transparency of our services. Our commitment is to help shops to develop their business in their local and global markets, and to grow a global community of loyal customers ”, stated Daniel Espejo, Country Manager for Klarna in Spain.
Led by the Asociación de Creadores de Moda de España (ACME) and promoted by Madrid Capital de Moda of the Madrid City Council, Madrid es Moda is a platform that integrates the entire Spanish fashion community. Created in 2015, its objective is to bring the street closer as well as to promote the consumption of Spanish fashion brands that support Slow Fashion through original appointments and plans held in different parts of Madrid.
In this edition, and under the creative concept of "DISCOVER" Madrid es Moda invites the consumer to discover a new way of seeing fashion, more attentive and sensitive to details, while discovering new perspectives and drawing new stories that speak about the work of Spanish fashion designers, Slow Fashion, the city of Madrid and the brands that collaborate in MeM.
