Teresa Helbig presents “BRIDE ROOM”

30/04/2025

On April 29th, the Catalan designer presented in Madrid BRIDE ROOM, her new bridal collection, with an immersive design that transformed the Schneider Colao art gallery into an intimate, evocative, and meaningful space. In collaboration with the French cosmetics brand Orveda, the presentation was conceived as a sensorial journey through the rooms of a house, recreating the moments leading up to the bride’s big moment.

Living rooms, bedrooms, and boudoirs transformed into scenarios of calm, emotion, and suspended beauty. Each set represents the personal experience of a bride that is different: combing her hair in front of the mirror, listening to music, taking photos, and wearing a unique dress. The retro-inspired and melancholic set was influenced by Edward Hopper’s lighting and Sofia Coppola’s visual universe in movie The Virgin Suicides. Vintage quilts, pastel tones, flowers, vinyl records and porcelain lamps, weave a nostalgic and intimate atmosphere.

Fabrics and finishes take center stage in the collection. Thick silk satins, pleated georgettes, delicate lace, and cotton Valenciennes are carefully framed in crafted silhouettes. Micro glass beads in seven different colors, hand-embroidered, evoke cross-stitch and add an exquisite artisanal touch to each design.

The experience culminates with a wedding banquet featuring delicate pastries that completed the Helbig universe. BRIDE ROOM was not just the presentation of a collection, but an aesthetic reflection on the pent-up emotions, desires, as well as the nostalgia that surrounds the moments before the commitment. Once again, the designer denotes that a Helbig bride never goes unnoticed.
