Andalusian Fashion Awards

15/10/2025

Spanish fashion celebrated last night the 6th edition of the Andalusian Fashion Awards held at the Global Omnium Auditorium in Seville, an event that brought together, one more time, fashion designers, institutions, and industry leaders to acknowledge the talent and creativity of Andalusian fashion.

Among the award winners were Juan Vidal and Modesto Lomba, both members of the Asociación de Creadores de Moda de España (ACME), whom received respectively the recognitions of Ambassador of Spanish Fashion and Honorary Award.

The event had one of its most emotional moments when Pepa Bueno, executive director of ACME, took the stage to present the award to Lomba. In her speech, she fondly and admiringly recalled the designer as a “boss, colleague, and role model,” highlighting his generous vision and commitment to Spanish design. “Modesto has been and is an example of serene leadership, absolute dedication to the craft, and the defense of fashion with a purpose,” she noted.

Juan Vidal was awarded for his international reach as well as his role as one of the new generation’s most influential designers. The jury highlighted his ability to combine elegance and innovation together with his contribution to the visibility of Spanish fashion in the world’s leading fashion circuits.

The gala, organized by Code Eventos as part of Andalusian International Fashion Week (SIMA 41), was supported by the Junta de Andalucia and brought together a large group of award winners who reflect the sector’s diversity and vitality. Among them were Rocío Peralta, Lourdes Montes, Jesús Rosado, Carlos Domínguez, Mayka Moreno, and Onversed.

With a carefully curated presentation and a unanimous message—the value of fashion as a cultural and economic driver—the Andalusian Fashion Awards consolidate their role as a leading platform for Spanish creativity.
