A Garden Under Glass: Pedro del Hierro

18/03/2026

Under the glass dome of the Cibeles Palace, a contemporary garden appears. In this setting, Pedro del Hierro, under the creative direction of Nacho Aguayo and Álex Miralles, presented the Fall/Winter 2026 collection, Winter Garden, at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid. The collection stems from a simple idea: to pause and discover the essence within each garment.

The concept takes shape in a natural imagery that permeates the entire collection. The set design recreates a contemporary garden beneath the glass dome of Cibeles Palace, an urban greenhouse where the vegetation introduces an atmosphere of calm observation. Within this context, a central idea emerges: garments that appear discreet at first glance conceal unexpected gestures.

In the women’s collection, a certain twilight coexists with flashes of material richness. The collection is built upon textures such as moiré, wool, and faux fur, enriched with pearls and lace that add depth to the overall look. The silhouette evokes the 1920s and features theatrical gestures in shoulders and volume, while small metallic flashes in silver and gold adorn garments and accessories inspired by botanical and avian worlds.

The menswear collection offers precision tailoring that revisits dandyism with a contemporary sensibility. Sharply cut jackets coexist with knitwear in fibers such as alpaca and mohair, and shirts showcase romantic touches. The palette ranges from brown, green, and blue with accents of mustard and ecru, adding depth to the overall look.

The fashion show also incorporated three looks from TFP by Tamara Falcó, integrated into the collection’s narrative.

Under the light of the Crystal Gallery, the garden imagined by Pedro del Hierro invites to take time and look: elegance emerges in what is only revealed when one is close up.
