The Isla Bonita Moda program, promoted by the La Palma Island Council through Sodepal, presented Rebirth at OMODA Madrid es Moda, a celebration of designer jewelry linked to the island and the creative force of its partner firms. The presentation took place at Tomás Alía’s residence, in a static format, as an encounter that places jewelry at the heart of the creative discourse.
The collection draws on the volcanic imagery of La Palma and its capacity to transform landscape and life. Fire, lava, and crystal function as symbols of a process of change that connects nature, time, and creation. The collection presents jewelry as a narrative object, where each piece encapsulates a story of transformation.
The shapes and finishes engage in a dialogue with mineral textures and polished surfaces, while the pieces are constructed like small architectural structures that evoke volcanic fractures, transparencies, and contained brilliance. Rebirth invites us to view jewelry as a fragment of territory transformed into a gesture.
