Madrid Fashion Week celebrates a new edition in March with two consecutive events: OMODA Madrid es Moda, from March 12th to 17th, and Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid, from March 17th to 22nd. The schedule unfolds across various locations throughout the city of Madrid and includes new venues, partnerships, and awards.
The edition begins in Plaza de España with the OMODA Madrid es Moda opening fashion show, organized in collaboration with the City’s Council. Twenty-four designers will present their collections on an urban runway located in front of the Miguel de Cervantes fountain. The schedule continues with over thirty activities, including fashion shows, presentations, performances, and talks, held at key venues such as the Cervantes Institute, the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando, and the San Isidro Museum.
OMODA Madrid es Moda also confirms a new phase alongside OMODA, which joins as a tittle-sponsor by lending its name to the project, thus reflecting its commitment to international fashion shows. The platform, promoted by ACME with the support of the City’s Council through Madrid Capital de Moda, brings together established fashion firms and newcomers, featuring open days, exhibitions, and a day dedicated to David Delfín at the Museo del Traje, organized by the Association.
On March 17th, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid headlines the continuity, organized by IFEMA MADRID with the support of the City Council. The catwalk shows feature five days, 40 designers—30 established and 10 emerging—and adds an additional day in an OFF format at the Fernán Núñez Palace. The fashion shows are spread throughout the Cibeles Palace, the Fernán Núñez Palace itself, and Hall 14.1 of IFEMA MADRID. EGO celebrates its twentieth anniversary with a revamped awards structure focused on emerging talent and international projection.
For more than nine days, the city of Madrid will host fashion shows, professional meetings, and events open to the public, in a continuous sequence of happenings that links Madrid with fashion.
