Uniendo Moda, a project of CEOE Castilla y León and the Regional Government of Castilla y León, is being presented at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid in collaboration with the Asociación de Creadores de Moda de España (ACME). The event is taking place at Cibelespacio, where the region has its own dedicated space until March 22nd.
The initiative places eleven designers from Castilla y León within the runway’s professional environment and establishes an initial collaborative working relationship with ACME. Their presence is structured through the Uniendo Moda Castilla y León space, from which the fashion brands showcase their collections and processes during the event.
In this context, ACME’s president Juan Duyos and executive director Pepa Bueno visited the stand and met with the President of CEOE Castilla y León, Santiago Aparicio, as part of MBFW’s professional activities.
The agreement between the two entities establishes lines of collaboration in institutional representation, training, promotion, and participation in industry forums, as well as initiatives aimed at designers and companies in the region.
Participating in the event are Santiago García-Didesant, Sara Santiago, Ainhoa Salcedo, Rosana Largo, Tocados Zeleste, Mónica Fuentetaja, Andrea Suárez, Lucía Ortiz, Mónica Neches, Zaira Domenech, and Erik Bruccia. Artisan Luisa Guardo is offering demonstrations of handloom weaving within the Uniendo Moda Castilla y León space.
