The Asociación de Creadores de Moda de España (ACME) received one of the inaugural “Leather Ambassadors” Awards, presented by Ubrique’s City Council during the III Fair Bajo La Piel, held last Friday, May 22nd.
The award acknowledges ACME’s work in support of Spanish fashion and its backing of the country’s craftsmanship and creative talent. The first edition of these awards was created to recognize entities, institutions, and professionals who contribute to the promotion, defense, and projection of the leather and crafts sector linked to Ubrique. This year’s recipients also included TVE program Flash Moda, Leather Cluster Barcelona, Cádiz’s Provincial Council, and the Regional Government of Andalusia.
The awards ceremony took place during the III Fair Bajo La Piel, an event dedicated to the leather sector and Ubrique’s artisanal traditions. The gala also included the “Leatherworker’s Day” Awards, granted to professionals and institutions linked to leather and the municipality’s economic development
