Signature label Delpozo opens a new flagship store in London’s Chelsea (134 Sloane Street). This is the second store in Europe after the opening in 2013 the brand’s flagship in Madrid (C / Lagasca 19).
According to statements by President and owner of Grupo Perfumes y Diseño, Pedro Trolez: “This store is essential for the growth of Delpozo in the UK market. We are very pleased with the location and the team of our new store. ”
Josep Font, Creative Director of the signature label, has worked directly in the creation of this new space given his training in architecture. He has personally chosen furniture and has been involved throughout the creative process that has resulted in a space with a very minimalist ambience.
In its construction noble materials such as marble and wood have been used, combining them with other more industrial such as wrought iron. In addition, natural light is the main protagonist since, in the words of Josep Font, “it is very important that garments are seen in a natural light instead of artificial light, so that clients can appreciate both the colour palette and the embroidery in detail. ”
Furthermore, due to the opening of the store, Delpozo held an exclusive dinner in their new space attended by well-known faces of London society such as art collector Valeria Napoleone, Art Consultant Hikari Yokoyama or Vogue UK Editor Bay Garnett.
